Dividend payments

Alkaloid AD Skopje started dividend payments to the shareholders for 2012 on 15.05.2013. Pursuant to the decision adopted at the Annual Shareholders Meeting, the shareholders of Alkaloid will be paid MKD 183.33 gross per share.

The transparency in the operations, the quality of communication and timely disclosure of price sensitive information via the electronic reporting system of the Stock Exchange and the relations with the media were the reason for granting the Crystal Bell award to Alkaloid AD Skopje for being the most transparently quoted company on the stock exchange for 2012.

Alkaloid donates 9 dialysis apparatuses to 5 health care centers 

Alkaloid AD – Skopje donated a total number of 9 dialysis apparatuses to 5 health care centers in Macedonia. General hospitals in Prilep and Strumica received two dialysis apparatuses respectively, as well as the medical centre in Delchevo and the clinic hospital in Shtip, while the general hospital in Gevgelija received one dialysis apparatus.

Alkaloid Awarded with two Plaques for Significant Investment Actions  by Macedonian Chamber of Commerce 

Alkaloid was awarded a plaque, as recognition for its investment activities abroad, and with another one, as recognition for its investments in new production facilities in Macedonia in a period of crisis, as part of the ceremony marking 91 years since the establishment of the Macedonian Chamber of Commerce, which dedicated special attention this year to companies and management brave enough to invest in the period of crisis from 2008 until today.

The Second Humanitarian Picnic

The second humanitarian picnic of Alkaloid AD - Skopje took place on 29 September 2012 (Saturday) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Mulino Garden complex in Sopishte municipality. The employees of Alkaloid AD - Skopje participated in the picnic along with members of their families and friends, demonstrating their humanity by donating to “Trajche Mukaetov” Foundation. Over half a million MKD was raised for equipment of the Clinic for Children Diseases at “Mother Theresa” Clinical Center in Skopje.

Danish Film Festival

The first Festival of Danish Films in the Republic of Macedonia will take place in “Cinematheque of Macedonia” from Monday 09 April 2012. Films that will be shown in “Cinematheque of Macedonia” participated in European film festivals such as the ones in Berlin, Thessaloniki, Brussels and Edinburgh.

40 New Scholarship Holders of the “Trajche Mukaetov” Foundation

The “Trajche Mukaetov” Foundation granted 40 new scholarships to undergraduate students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Medicine at “Sts Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje on 28 October 2011 for the 2010/2011 academic year: 20 scholarships to students of pharmacy and 20 to students of medicine.

GMP CERTIFICATE FOR PHARMACEUTICALS PROFIT CENTRE

Following the audit in the semi-synthetic cephalosporin production facility, conducted in accordance with EC Directive 2001/83, Article 111(5) in February 2011, the National Agency for Drugs and Medical Appliances at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Romania renewed the Certificate of Compliance with the GMP principles defined in EC Directive 2003/94.
